What is a payout and how to identify it?

A payout is a money transfer that we send to your account or digital wallet every Friday as long as it is an amount greater than USD 500.

To identify a payout in your report, you must check the "Description" column of the file. The first two transactions you will find are "Balance" and "Payout", and they correspond to the second to last transfer we have made.

The amount for "Balance" will be in the "NET_CREDIT_AMOUNT" column and will show the credit balance in your Mercado Pago account.  This amount will match for "Payout" in the "NET_DEBIT_AMOUNT" column that shows the transfer received.

The following transactions will correspond to the new cycle and, at the end of the file, you will find again the concept "Payout", with the amount of the last transfer we have made.

To find out other details, such as the account to which the money was transferred, copy the number shown in the "SOURCE_ID" column in the same row as the "Payout", and paste it into the search engine available in the "Activity" section.

You will find the amount and the date of the transfer and by clicking on these details, you will find more information.
